With two restaurants to choose from, Dale Lodge offers fine food in either the relaxed and welcoming Tweedies Bar or a more refined and elegant experience in The Lodge Restaurant. Both offer the same excellent service and wide ranging menu.
Set within the main hotel, the ambiance of the Lodge Restaurant is more of refinement and style, with an extended wine list that offers that little something extra special for the serious wine buff. The sumptuous surroundings, flickering candlelight and personal service makes for a perfect, special evening.
The food is a fusion of traditional Lake District pub food and contemporary European cuisine. There are the old classics such as steak and kidney pudding and fish & chips, as well as modern favourites such as our assiette of duck and haddock and leek tartlet. The specials change regularly and often feature dishes such as local cumberland sausage, roasted sea bream and tender duck breast. Wherever possible, we use only the freshest local produce.
